Morning Prayer @ Doncaster Minster

The Church of England, along with other churches in England and around the world, has a pattern of daily morning prayer. Each day uses different readings from the Bible, and different prayers.

Minster Open 10.30am – 3.30pm @ Doncaster Minster

The Minster is open daily for visitors, tourists and residents to visit, view the building, discover its history and heritage, for prayer or meditation. Information and guidance is readily available from our volunteer Stewards, who will greet you.

Holy Communion (Common Worship)

The Service takes place in the Chancel of the Minster. Common Worship employs a common structure with more modern language for this communion service

Minster Literacy Project @ Doncaster Minster

We support people who want to learn English by providing sessions in conversation, reading and writing. It has been rewarding to
welcome people of different nationalities and religions to the Minster.

Evening Prayer @ Doncaster Minster

Pilgrim Course: The Eucharist @ St George House, Doncaster Minster

Pilgrim Course: The Eucharist @ St George House, Doncaster Minster

Our next Pilgrim course will begin on Wednesday 30th January 2019, every Wednesday for six weeks (with a break on the 6th March). We will be looking at The Eucharist.
The evenings will begin at 5.30pm in St George’s House, with a meal, followed by the course which begins at 6.00pm and finishes at 7.30pm.There is no charge for the meal, but donations are welcomed.
The Pilgrim course is for everyone, for those who have been to the earlier Pilgrim evenings, and for anyone coming to them new.
The evenings involve being together over a meal, watching short videos, listening to short recorded reflections, talking together and having group discussions exploring, our Christian faith and looking at what difference being a Christian makes.
Everyone is warmly invited to come along.
