8:30 am Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)
A quiet, said service, using the Book of Common Prayer, which is held in the Chancel using the choir seating.
11:00 am Sung Eucharist (Common Worship)
A service using modern language from Common Worship with one of the Minster choirs providing full choral worship in the best liturgical tradition of the Church of England.
Children are welcome at all our services, but they can go across to St George House for Sunday School during part of the 11.00 am service. This is aimed at children aged 2-5 and they must be accompanied by an adult. Please ask one of the stewards for more details. There is also a play area at the back of church.
4:30 pm Choral Evensong (Book of Common Prayer)
On the 1st & 3rd Sundays in the month
Evensong is Cathedral-style choral worship and its current form dates back to 1662. The Minster is one of only three churches in the Diocese maintaining the tradition.
Come and escape from stressful busyness and the harsh realities of life, experience the beauty and peace of Evensong, and refresh your spirit at the end of the day.
