In order to continue this work in the 21st century a major programme of restoration and renovation is essential. The Minster Appeal was established to meet these objectives. We make this appeal to the people of Doncaster and its region so that the Minster continues as a key feature of the borough, to maintain the Anglican tradition of music and worship, to enhance the heritage and history of the site and to enable the community to celebrate together those great civic occassions in the future.

The fabric of the church needs to be in excellent repair and in good condition, in preparation for a growth in visitors through tourism, educational visits and cultural events. We need to renew most sections of the roof and treat roof timbers
We also need to repair stonework and other external faulty fabric...
